I get emails all the time asking me to plug things, but I don’t know that I’ve gotten more for any cause than I have for this Kickstarter campaign to restore the 1968 movie El Capitan. With six days left they are still about ,500 short of the ,000 goal to get the project completed.

    Honestly, part of the film’s charm for me is the antiquated look and feel. Still, the film should certainly be preserved and distributed so more people can see it, as it is an essential part of climbing lore.
