→ Tributes To Layton Kor∞
Nice collection of tributes to Layton Kor over at Climbing.com, including this one from Steve Komito:
My clearest memories of these adventures include the feeling of sand in my ears and eyes, the sight of Layton’s enormous rock shoes in stirrups over my head, tiny belay stances hung over a void so vast that at times it seemed I must be looking downward into the heavens, and always, the sense that The Force was with me.
I Did Not Know That. I Learned Something Today.
You learn something new every day…

→ Andrea Hah Repeats Punks In The Gym (5.14a)∞
It’s been a busy time for notable repeats of historically significant 5.14a’s, what with Paige Claassen and Drew Ruana repeating America’s first 5.14a To Bolt Or Not To Be and now Aussie Andrea Hah doing the 2nd female ascent of the first 5.14a in the world, Wolfgang Gullich’s Punks In The Gym at Mt. Arapiles.
Nice interview with Andrea here as well.
