Spring Break ‘09 Pt. 2: Rocktown Pt. 1

If you ask most people to identify one classic problem in Rocktown, GA, The Orb would probably be it. One of the first problems you come across on the approach to the boulders, The Orb climbs out the underbelly of a very unique looking boulder using a series of cool holds. It also happens to hold the very attainable grade of V8. Needless to say, it didn’t take very long for our crew (minus yours truly) to begin throwing down attempts shortly after we arrived at the boulders.

Desert Southwest Spring Break Update

Last week was a pretty big week for the areas in the desert southwest as some of the best climbers in the world descended on the areas stretching from St. George, UT to Las Vegas, NV and beyond.
