3 weeks ago, Fifty Words for Pump was a project at the Red River Gorge that nobody had been able to do over the course of 10 years. 3 weeks later it now has 3 ascents thanks to Mike Doyle’s recent repeat. Apparently the work put in by the pros during the recent Roctrip refined the beta to the point where Mike only needed 4 tries for the send which leads him to speculate the route might even be 5.14b. No word on the rumors of Mike adjusting the bolts on Fifty to make the crux clips easier though…
