I was pretty lucky to get a set of snowshoes for Christmas and then have it snow 6 inches 3 days later. Last night I headed out to Lapham Peak State Park to test them out. While the aesthetics of the trail were definitely lacking (you can see houses and some major roads for much of the trail), it was still enjoyable. There weren’t any other people snowshoeing and the weather was perfect. More/better pictures once I head out during daylight hours.
