American climber, Jonathan Siegrist, embarks on a journey to France to pay tribute to the roots of modern sport climbing. After teaming up with Swiss superstar, Nina Caprez, the two climb the hardest routes the Verdon Gorge has to offer. Shortly thereafter, they stumble upon the greater meaning of climbing when they were least looking for it.

A very spiritual place to climb, beautiful in any conditions. The people of La Palud are really wonderful too. If you are there for a week or two they treat you like a local. Everyone should visit this place at least once in their climbing life.

So to watch the whole movie you buy it for $2.00 – which gives you 1 year of viewing. Is that not a rental? Can it only be viewed during that year “online”?
