Dave MacLeod is without doubt one of the world's top all-round climbers - renowned for his dedication and single minded training. Many hours of gripping footage document Dave working on his latest projects, cranking hard and succeeding on seemingly impossible routes. But what about Dave the man? This film, shot in Magic Wood, Switzerland, is a portrait of Dave – combining interviews and climbing. This unique glimpse of Dave's life, allows him to share his experiences, his ideas, his thoughts on being a climber and what it really takes to improve and succeed.

The film is [...] mostly about ideas of mine rather than watching climbing footage. It's about ideas and observations I have made over 20 years as a climber and studying other climbers as a coach. The ideas are things like what is important for enjoying climbing and also improving at it; the attitudes and mindsets that help to allow you to make the most of your chances to climb and improve.
