Crimpin Ain't Easy...the same one as beforeSeptember 10, 2013 at 1:40 pm#
I also have to say that Paul seems way more comfortable and better at articulating himself in this genuine/improvised format, rather than in the scripted videos.
Let’s think about what we were doing when we were younger… we climbed at the red but that was about it, cause it was close… but we went to all the local comps and what not… now that we are older, we are traveling a lot more… it comes down to money in a way i think, when we were kids our parents paid for it, now we’d rather spend money on a longer trip than a two day event…
This is my first post. I have been watching videos on this site for some time now and I must say this was excellent. Great job! It would be nice to see more.
Wow, thanks to everyone for the positive feedback.
It’s likely that we will do another one of these next week, probably on Thursday evening to coincide with the Reel Rock tour premier. Details are still be hashed out…
Awesome. . . . this is soo much better than existing climbing video blogs (enormocast, etct.) because Narc is actually likable. Keep up the great work. Robinson’s seems like a cool and smart dude too . . .
Thanks for the kind words. I enjoy listening to the Enormocast quite a bit myself. Like any of this it has room for improvement but overall it’s an enjoyable product.
Great idea – I like that you featured a male and a female, and I thought it was so interesting to hear their perspective/experience about training. Great natural flowing conversation Brian!
Great to hear that Paul has been hard at work opening a new area in the Victoria Range in the Grampians. What amazes me is that he (and other visitors) have totally ignored the temporary BAN on climbing and access that is currently in force there. Do these people even care about access, just look at what is happening in South Africa at the moment. Maybe this needs to be brought to the attention of their sponsors. Great role model guys!
WHOAAA…nice to finally see ya in front of the camera, Narc!!!

Agreed. During this show as well as the SCS Nationals broadcast I’ve found him to be quite good at this sort of thing.

I could listen to Paul say “boulders” all day

Being able to watch these videos makes work a little bit more tolerable, thanks!

What an enjoyable podcast/interview! The simplicity and calmness was very pleasant. Hope to be able to watch a second episode! (third, fourth,…:)

Was this from the fire? I thought that ban got lifted?

I’m from Australia and a lot of people I know have been going recently, no ban that I’ve heard of…
