    With no disrespect, I personally see no reason for Aid Climbing. Yes, sport, trad, dws, bouldering, or any other form of climbing looks laughable from an onlookers point of view, but in these you are testing your own limits, bettering yourself. Whereas in Aid Climbing its only about getting to the top (seeing as you rely on pieces of gear made by machines or other people to ascend). If a climber aids a line to find a path for a possible FA, i understand. But this simply Aid Climbing to Aid Climb is beyond me understanding and absent in my motivation.

      That is how people who have never climbed view the entire entity of climbing. Perhaps you should try aid then you would understand.
