2011 Teva Mountain Games: Vail Bouldering World Cup Starts Today

The IFSC Bouldering World Cup at the 2011 Teva Mountain Games in Vail, CO begins this morning with proceedings kicking off live on IFSC.tv at 9:00 AM MDT.  Joining the usual touring group of top international climbers will be a huge contingent of Americans including last year’s winner Daniel Woods.  Here is the full list of Americans competing along with their position in the running order:

    what is with the monotone guy just talking and giving foreign language lessons.  Sounds like he just popped a couple of Quaaludes.

      I’m with you!  Why why why must climbing comp. announcers always suck ass?  I swear, he just said, “thank you to the judges for cleaning the holds.”  That’s like a football announcer saying, “thank you to the linesmen for moving the chains”!  

      Announcer:  If you cannot think of anything that adds to the experience, wait until you do, THEN speak.

    Of course streaming goes down right after men’s qualifier’s starts!

    I actually didn’t think the announcer was too bad, but what do I know I’m just a wannabe climber rehabbing a bilateral knee surgery.

    im from boulder co and im 15 and someone told me that there is amacher bouldering tournament during the teva games. if there is such thing how can i join?
