have not watched core yet but have to say that I love this new brand of climbing films. Chuck does such a good job on the filming angles and artistic nature. I am a music producer so the tunes are right up my alley and produced well.

Also like the kids at LT11, their another group in the new breed of producers that are much better than the old breed (personal opinion)

    keep crushing

i have to say im not a fan at all of Chuck. his edits bore the shit outta me. the dosage series is still by far the best climbing videos out. straight forward and no bs. i didnt really understand the fancy car and clubbing scenes in this quick edit really distracting from the climbing and the climber himself.

as for LT11 they have some good ideas and i really enjoy the free videos they throw out there but i usually turn them off half way due to their funky ass effects they throw in the video.

idk maybe its just something growing up as a skateboarder. but the skate scene videos are just sooooooo much cooler then climbing videos.

I must say that I prefer the Dosage series as well, but I am glad that both producers have their own style and generally I would say that they are both very very high quality and enjoyable to watch. You can’t please everybody with one style, so it’s nice that there are several good producers out there doing their own thing.

Still have to see the whole core movie, and looking forward to it.
But I really do hope there’s not a lot of this cars, clubs and screaming chicks nonsense in it.
The filming itself looks really quite nice.

It seems to be a generational things as well as the type of climbing you enjoy. If you a full throttle young gun who want to crush boulders you will probably be drawn to the new style.

If your an old schooler who is a into placing gear and running out slab as far as the eye can see, or grew up watching sharma crush boulders and route you will stick with the old kind of vids.

Either way the are all great to watch….P.S. I really enjoy LT 11 effects except the glow stick hand thing, I do agree that this was a little much, but I was very impressed with the vid with Carlo out of the WV hillz.
