ABS 10 Nationals Weekend Shoutouts

As far as trips go, this past weekend’s excursion to Boulder, CO for ABS Nationals ranks right up there as one of my favorites of all time. I don’t think we could have done more things if we wanted to. We hiked in Eldo, saw all 3 gyms, coached during the youth comp, spectated at the adult comp, bouldered at Flagstaff, hiked on Mt. Sanitas and did several other things you could never dream of doing in Wisconsin during February. All in only 3 days.
The main impetus for our successful trip was the vast amounts of help offered to us through several contacts I’ve made through this blogsite. A huge thank you goes out to Peter Beal of the blog Mountains and Water who was kind enough to put us up for the weekend and show us around the bouldering at Flagstaff. We also have to thank Paul Robinson and Adam from DenverBouldering.com for helping us hook up tickets for Finals on Saturday night. Thanks guys!
Beyond that, we had a great time meeting Tom from AllClimbing, Steph Davis, Andy Mann and many other people I’ve been communicating with through this blogsite. Thanks again to everyone!
