Back in Colorado after a successful trip to Europe that saw him climb his first V14s, Chris Schulte has once again turned his attention to climbing new problems. His recent efforts have yielded two new V13s right in Colorado’s Frontrange.
The first of the new problems is called Authentic Battle Damage. Located in Boulder Canyon, ABD climbs out a cool looking overhanging prow.
The most recent of Schulte’s efforts is a problem that had been “hiding in plain sight” in the Poudre Canyon. What’s Left of the Bottom of My Heart climbs “good granite, nice holds, and interesting, technical moves”.
Be sure to check out Schulte’s excellent website, Bloclist.com, for a well done presentation of what he has been up to. He also has a series of videos of several lesser seen hard problems.
not so much hiding, everybody knew this problem, no one tried it cuz it sucks. go and do circadean why dontcha? maybe when other someone is there to see it done.

Hey Chunt,
It would be cool if you had any idea what you are talking about before you start anonymously attacking somebody on the internet.
I’ve seen Chris climb V14. I’ve also seen him do V13 and V12, and V11, etc… Not just one but many. Are you calling both of us liars?

Is that a silent “h”?
I think it is!

on a handful of occassions i’ve watched chris run successive laps on established double digit problems to “warm up” or to get in a pump at the end of his session. his unedited videos clearly show that he gets stuff done all by his lonesome. that seems to stack the odds well in favor of hard lines getting sent without a huge crew around…
i know a decent amount of folks who will actually stop climbing when a crowd shows up, but will quietly decimate hard lines when the crew leaves and i’m still there, to witness the clean secret of it.
i know that climbers love to have pissing matches… hey, i LOVE my pissing matches…but after a while, it just seems like a huge waste of energy.
let it die.

It’s funny how people assume the internet is still so anonymous. When you leave a comment on a WordPress blog it shows your IP address to the blog author. It’s not that hard to link an IP address to a name. I’m sure Narc is doing you a favor by not exposing you for the poser you are so stop wasting your time and ours.
