Taming The Cobra

Nice piece by Brits Tom Randall and Pete Whittaker about their successful ascents of Sonnie Trotter’s Cobra Crack (5.14-) in Squamish, BC:

So where does this leave us, three weeks into a three-and-half week long trip? Was our training any good? Did The Cobra live up to expectations and did the Squamish Weather Gods smile down on us?

I still think it is wild that everyone has gone with the Favresse beta of using the crimp and the heel-toe cam. I wanna see someone repeat it via the original method!

    love the Wide Boyz!
The team approach is awesome, I know its ‘touchy feely’ but its inspiring to see two buddies working together and sending the same project. They’re lucky to have each other
