Chris Sharma In His Birthday Suit

If you’ve always wondered what Chris Sharma might look like if he was hiking your project in the nude, your wait is over.  Sharma and girlfriend Daila Ojeda were featured in the 2013 ESPN The Magazine Body Issue which luckily comes with this gem of an interview that’s only missing questions about how fast he climbs or if he’s ever thought about climbing Everest1.

  1.  I kid, the interview isn’t that bad considering its intended audience

      He is on the thin side for sure just like all elite climbers. The best climbers are downright skinny when compared to elite athletes from more traditional American sports like basketball, football, baseball.

        True, I just thought he looked bigger than that.

          No doubt I hear you and agree that he could easily hit 180 or so at times just not while in sport climbing mode I expect.

    That’s wild. I’m 6′ 150 and I feel muscley. 165 seems pretty jacked to me. Guess I just have a really thin frame. If 165 is thin for climbers, wonder what Dani Andrada and Jan Hojer top in at, and if Ondra is around 150?

      165 is big for pro climbers. 6′ tall is tall for pro climbers. Climbers are small. Andrada is smaller than Sharma. Jan Hojer is bigger, about 6’2″ and high 170’s.

      If you are really 6′ and really only 150 that is Dave Graham skinny. Not saying that is good or bad.

    God bless the Narc’s site: Here are links to Daila (and Sharma) in the NUDE (!), and the comments are discussing athletic body composition. I love it!

    However, in this case, I think I’m going to go over to Jaimie’s B3 Bouldering blog where I’m sure to find some DIRT! Booya!

    @Edge –bravo!

      I liked that one a lot as well. What do you think the author of that caption even thinks that means?

      Also, good to hear from you, Chuffer!
