Two weekends in October down, three precious weekends to go. Do you know where your project is?
I’ve more or less given up on making much progress on my project this fall season, but that doesn’t mean I haven’t been enjoying my time out on the real rock. Despite unseasonably high temperatures of late, any opportunity to spend time outside, especially with fall colors in full effect, is well worth it in my opinion.

I know where my project is and unfortunately it’ll be November before I get back on it. But it’s OK because it’s in Arkansas. I picked up a permadraw for it and can’t wait to rap it, brush the so-so-much-smaller-than-I-thought, lichen covered holds, my draws, and suss out the beta to try to FA the damn thing.

Just my opinion but projects are boring and lack any sense of adventure. Onsight is where its at 🙂

Onsights are boring and lack the sense of pushing your absolute physical capabilities on rock. Projecting is where it’s at.
