5.14a Onsight By Sasha DiGiulian In The Red River Gorge

Sasha DiGiulian is having a pretty good week in Kentucky’s Red River Gorge sending Southern Smoke (5.14c) on Saturday and now, according to her Facebook profile, onsighting the 130 ft. Omaha Beach (5.14a) in the aptly named Madness Cave.  Omaha Beach was onsighted a long time ago by Katie Brown at .13d but subsequent hold breaks have upped the grade a notch.  Impressive work!

    Holy smokes! If she can maintain half of what she’s doing now we are looking at the future leading icon in women’s climbing. Go Sasha!

      If you stayed at Drive By late enough in the day you could have seen her onsighting Easyrider….as well as my stylish repeat of Breakfast Burrito…
