Border Country

Border Country

One of the cooler things I’ve seen of late is this video put together by Jeremy Collins about a new route he did with Mikey Schaefer and Dana Drummond in memory of lost friends on Yosemite’s Middle Cathedral called Border Country (V 5.12c):

If one of your first thoughts after watching the video is “how the **** did they do those animations” then you are in luck.  Via Patagonia’s blog is this behind the scenes video (once again put together by Collins) that shows how some of the animations were created.  Pretty cool if you ask me…

This is the most refreshing climbing vid……I love what movies like CORE have to offer, but this vid speaks to my soul. I know sounds cheesy but it’s the truth.

This seems like a work of art, very similar to waking life.

This was the only film that showed every night of the recent 5Point Film Festival, and it gave me chills every time I watched it. Beautiful.
