ClimbIdaho.com is a great blog that I’m not sure many people have heard of. I for one never even knew there was so much climbing to be had in Idaho, so I have thoroughly enjoyed learning more. Run by Mike McClure, ClimbIdaho features frequent updates with pictures and videos from several areas in Idaho and beyond.
Here is a ClimbIdaho clip from the boulders at Castle Rock State Park. If I’m not mistaken the final problem, Out Of Africa (V10), is the last part of James Litz’s unrepeated testpiece Warparth (Vjameslitz).

Not to be confined to Idaho alone, the crew gets out to major bouldering destinations like Joe’s Valley, Bishop and Hueco Tanks with seeming regularity. Here is the third part of a 3 part series of videos from ClimbIdaho’s recent trip to Hueco Tanks. Be sure to check their site for many, many more videos.

castle rock stuff looks dope… swan falls not so much

Swan sucks unless you live 20 min away, then you have to search through the mini boulders and be happy to find anything that tops out higher than 5 feet off the ground. Gotta do what you can with what you got I suppose. Castle is good, Riggins is the shit though.
