Petzl Roctrip RRG Wrap Up

With great anticipation, the Petzl Roctrip 2007 descended on the Red River Gorge in Slade, KY last week. Many hard routes were repeated and several new routes were established. Overall the event was a huge success as it raised enough money to pay the mortgage on the PRMP through 2008.

Wheel of Life (V16) Repeated

22 year old Chris Webb Parsons has repeated Dai Koyamada’s Wheel of Life (V16) at the Hollow Mountain Cave of the Grampians, Australia. Jaws II

Vasya Vorotnikov has made the First Ascent of Dave Graham’s crimp nightmare Jaws since some holds broke.  Originally graded 5.14b, Vasya has registered the new version as 5.15a and he calls it Jaws II.
