This is a short clip documenting the first ascent of Family Man, 5.14. Skaha, BC, Canada. For me, this climb was as much about getting outside with my family, as it was about trying hard. The first few pieces of gear were placed on lead, but since the moves aren't so hard I then down climbed to the ledge and rested before my actual ascent. However, this style could certainly be improved upon. So, Thanks to everyone who helped make this ascent come to life. She's a real gem.
