Mason Earle Frees Hard Crack In Indian Creek
Via Sender Films come news that Mason Earle climbed what he considers to be his hardest desert crack yet when he was the first to free the 2nd pitch of Hot Pork Sunday in Indian Creek, UT. After climbing the 5.12 first pitch, the 5.13+ 2nd pitch features 120 feet of vertical to slightly overhanging climbing culminating in a “wicked left leaning narrowing finger splitter”. Earle fell 3 times on the final moves before “finally sketching [his] way to the top”.

This is Taylor’s 2nd 5.14d at the Red, the other being The Golden Ticket which is just down the wall from Pure Imagination and was first done by Taylor himself back in 2009.
