It’s been several months since I last watched The Sharp End, Sender Films’ last movie. I had forgotten about the segment in the movie that featured Jonny Copp & Micah Dash doing their thing in India, France and elsewhere. Sender Films has been nice enough to share that segment with everyone online to help commemorate their lives as well as the life of Wade Johnson who helped produce the segment. It’s actually a little bit eerie to watch as Copp & Dash are nearly buried in an avalance during the filming, and they talk candidly about the inherent dangers in what they do.

After watching the tribute videos, I had a flashback to a professor of German language at Ohio State University. Though I never officially took any of his classes, he was so popular that students would go to his classes during their free time to listen to him. The saying of his that I remember the most was – “Live life; don’t let life live you.”. I feel that Sara has been blessed to be able to share a short part of her life with someone who epitomized that view of life.
