Ok. Horrible title. Forgive me.
Anyway, Jimmy Webb is about a week into his first trip to Font. Last week he managed that one day ascent of Kheops Assis (V14), and according to his 8a scorecard this week he managed a relatively quick repeat of Dave Graham’s The Island a once V15 but now maybe V14 at Coquibus Rumont. This latest ascent puts him at 99 problems V10 or harder in the past 12 months which is notable for being 99 more V10s or harder than I’ve done in my entire life1.
Update: Webb added a repeat of Gecko Assis (generally V14 but Webb thought V13) to close out his trip. Four V13’s or harder in his first 6 days climbing in Font.

I tip my cap to your G-ness and fly lyrical abilities, Narc.

99 double digit boulders in 12 months??! That would surprise me if I hadn’t watched him flash Rules of Chaos.

Looks like he’s up to 100 now.

I put that in the guide as V10 because Carlo was so adamant that it warranted the grade. You can take your complaints or demurs up with him!

Haha. By definition it can’t be V10 if I can do it! Did that make it in the book???

Don’t sell yourself short man. It could just be “your style.”

“Four V13′s or harder in his first 6 days climbing in Font. A world record!!”
Not true. Adam Ondra did five V13´s or harder in his first five days.
Also, Webb spent nine days climbing in Font before ticking off his fourth V13 or harder.

The narc’s comment is poking fun at a certain website that starts with 8 and ends with a. It’s a little hard to pick up on subtlety, but it’s OK.

I’ve been to 8a enough times to see that narc’s poking fun with Jens always talking about “world records”.
Anyway, writing 6 days instead of 9 does not have anything to do with the fun poking.
Also, even those who pick up that narc’s poking fun at 8a could get the impression that this was the most impressive first visit to font ever.
An analogy:
Someone gets the second fastest ascent of the Nose. Narc writes a better time than they actually used, says it’s an amazing performance and ends with “world record” to poke fun at 8a. Even readers who pick up the joke would interpret this as a speed record of the Nose.
