Thanks

It’s been about 7 months since I brought my unhealthy obsession with climbing to the internet.  I don’t think I ever thought that I would still be injured after all this time, but I also don’t think I ever thought that I would stick to updating this site and expanding on it the way I have.

I had reservations that people would just think I was weird or crazy, but the response has been very positive.  Despite the negative perception of climbers in the Frontrange as having too much ego or not being friendly, people like Jamie Emerson, Ryan Olson and Justin Jaeger (among others) have been very helpful.  Not living in the Frontrange but equally as positive is Scott Gross.  Thanks guys.

On the local front I never really advertised the existence of my blogsite to people at my local gym due to most people already thinking I was over-obsessed with climbing.  However, over time the word has spread and although I still get good natured ribbings from people, I have received a lot of positive comments as well.

Overall, it is cool to see all the people out there that are psyched about climbing.  If nothing else, this blogsite has given me a great opportunity to correspond with many new and old friends that I hope to one day share some rock with…once my arm feels better 🙂

Personally, man, I think you do a great job. I found your site quite by accident a couple weeks ago and now stop by daily. You have a passion for the subject and that draws people in. Looking forward to seeing more great stuff from you in the future. By the way, you heading to Rocktoberfest? I can’t get the time away, but would be interested in getting a report.

Keep up the effort! I have found that I almost prefer posting to my blog over partaking of some of the climbing forums, frankly. I’ve enjoyed reading your stuff, too.

I will not be at Rocktoberfest although I will obviously be religiously devouring any and all online reports on the subject as well as a few first hand reports from friends.
