Sorry for the lack of updates recently. It is mostly owing to my worsening tendonitis in my fingers which makes all typing increasingly painful. Therefore I have been saving as many keystrokes as possible for the long hours at work which leaves fewer keystrokes for more optional activities like blogging.

That said, I spent the weekend in Kentucky and I have many things to share, most likely tomorrow.

In the meantime, I fixed the pictures page and added a few pictures from my trip to Bishop taken by Tim Kettering.
Oh, and Ethan Pringle has made the 4th ascent of Realization. You can learn more about Ethan’s work on this route by reading Jon Cardwell’s pro blog entry that I referenced last week.
Tendonistis….no good. I have been thinking about getting voice recognition software, since I type online enough that…well, let’s just consider it preventative medicine! Might be something that would help you, too.

I have tendonitis, and type for a living too. Check out this link someone posted with an article from an old Climbing issue. I’ve been following the tips in the article, even though “self-massage” sounds dirty, and it seems to really help my tendonitis.

It’s ironic isn’t it. I have the same problem. We injure ourseves climbing then don’t help the healing process by not typing. It’s a vicious circle!!
