Climbing Video: Chris Lindner Sport Climbing In Wyoming

This video of Chris Lindner and company climbing at Sinks Canyon and the Wild Iris near Lander, WY was first shown in the very first issue of Deadpoint Magazine back in October of 2008.  It features a fair amount of “lifestyle” type footage in its 14 odd minutes which I know can turn some people off, but the climbing and scenery shots more than makes up for it.  Have a great weekend everyone!

Thanks to Eli for passing this along.

be sure to look for (upcoming i’m sure) DPM footage of chris on the newest 14a in WV “Moist Bass Line” and possibly a 14c/d project he was working on during his trip here in may/june.

real nice guy, but getting some very shitty catches by whoever was his belayer/partner.

am i the only one that watches that and think it looks like incredibly hard climbing? My fingures would pop off after 2 pockets in a row let alone a whole route of them.

LOVE the sinks bighorn dolomite! the rattlesnake that was hanging around the base of killer cave last time i was there would make me wary of camping there, though….

Thanks for the shout out Narc. What did you all think of the “lifestyle” part of the video. I think it was well produced, but come on, didn’t bragging about your drinking habits go out of style 20 years ago.

I have a hard time believing the lifestyle portrayed in the video benefits Chris, he sponsors, or impressionable young climbers. Crushing 5.14 is cool enough, don’t dilute it with that stuff.

I’m guessing showing up hungover (allegedly) to “pro climber” clinics is also not what his sponsors are looking for
