After a fairly miserable sounding Winter, the conditions in Spain have improved as of late which can mean only one thing: another new 5.15 from Chris Sharma. As with the new routes he did earlier this month, his latest creation Demencia Senil is in the Laboratory area of Margalef. Here is what Daila Ojeda had to say about the climb on her blog:
The condition for climbing is perfect now! We have been taking advantage of the great weather these days… and today in Margalef Chris did the first ascent of “Demencia Senil” 9a+. One incredible overhang in the Laboratory.
