Another week, another update from our friends in Yosemite.  This week’s update includes David (broken heel and all) and Rachel climbing on Separate Reality, Eddie climbing on Tales of Power (5.12b), a trip to the Mariposa Grove and an insane rope swing. Next up, The Nose???

In other Yosemite news, Hans Florine and Yuji Hirayama are attempting to re-claim their speed record for El Capitan’s Nose route.  You can read a great account of their efforts that saw them come up 2 minutes slower than the previous record at SuperTopo.

    They did it! Hans and Yuji broke the record by 2 minutes – official time 2:43:33.
