Alex Honnold talks with PlanetMountain about his new highball in Bishop called Too Big To Flail:

This might be the biggest line that I’ve seen at the Buttermilks but it’s hard to say for sure because there is so much rock out there. It’s definitely rare though to find such a high-quality line on such good rock.

    A bit more historic info posted by Wills Young on the Bishop Bouldering Blog:

     “Also of note is that a line here was first top-roped by visiting Brit
    George Ulllrich during a trip in July! He had hoped to get back to solo
    the line but his car broke down on Buttermilk Road. See George’s blog
    about this astonishing trip, during which he also established “Call It
    What You Want” which is the upper part of what is now Ambrosia, climbed
    from off a ladder–it was too hot to work the thin crimpy start to the
    line at that time of year!

    Not to start the measuring war, but I thought Kevin J’s “Footprints” was pretty hard and pretty high off the deck too (45-50 feet).  Both look a little too heady for me!

      I was under the impression that the physical crux on that line was pretty close to the ground, with the upper crux being more insecure than hard. They are both daunting prospects, to be sure.
