Seven

I meant to write this post a month ago when it was actually this site’s 7th birthday, but now seems as good a time as any to finish.  One of the reasons it took me so long to write this post was because I didn’t quite know how to put my thoughts about having done this for seven years into words until last night.

After having the chance to interview Daniel Woods last night and thinking back to the other interviews I’ve done with people like Dave Graham and Angie Payne not to mention the opportunities I’ve had to do commentating for something like ABS Nationals, I realize how little I could have expected any of this when the site started in February 2007.

The main takeaway for me when I think about the future of this site, and really the future of my life in general, is that you never really know what is going to happen.  I can say pretty definitively that I don’t expect to be writing on this site 7 years from now¹, but I am excited to see what sort of opportunities come along down the road.
