It Was An Honor Just To Be Nominated

Ok, I'll bite.  While these types of lists seems at least 50% geared toward generating links back to them¹, I thought I would take at least a moment to enjoy being named the #1 climbing blog in this article on Outside Online.  Since I'm a strict adherent to the Brave & Humble™ mantra I don't generally take much satisfaction from this sort of positive feedback, but I certainly appreciate the recognition nonetheless.

What I appreciate even more though is you, the reader.  I started this site almost five years ago with no real idea where it would go, and I've been continually amazed by the positive reaction and support I've received over that time.  In that time I've also been fortunate to meet some great people in real life², and it's this confluence of interactions that continually reinforces to me how amazing the climbing community can be.

In many ways the recognition of this Outside list, whatever value it may convey, goes to you.  Without the consistent readership and support from you, I would have stopped doing this long ago.  So, thanks!!
