Via Rockcreek’s blog comes word that registration is now open for the 2011 Triple Crown Bouldering Series. The series will once again feature stops at Hound Ears, NC, Horse Pens 40, AL and the Stone Fort, TN. There are some changes worth noting, however:
PLEASE NOTE: THE DATES FOR THIS YEAR’S COMPETITION HAVE CHANGED. Be sure to register early, since the event is going to fill up fast, and PLEASE show up on the correct days!

- October 1: HOUND EARS
- October 8: STONE FORT / LRC
- November 5: HORSE PENS 40
More Big News: This year, Montlake golf course has coordinated with Triple Crown and is planning to close the relevant fairway for the Stone Fort leg of the competition, which means up to 50 classic boulder problems — including Cloud Nine, King Cobra, and the 45 Degree Wall — will be available for the first time. Triple Crown will be the one chance this year that you can climb these problems!
