Video Friday - 1/28/2011
Friday is here again, and other than the prospect of not having to work for a couple of days winter weekends in the Midwest generally lack much to get excited about.
It's probably going to snow (again), it's still going to be cold and the prospect of climbing on real rock anywhere within a 300 mile radius is out of the question for a couple more months at least.
This weekend is a bit different, however, in that tomorrow is the 12th annual Quick on the Draw climbing competition at the local rock gym. Local fans of the Narc are no doubt aware of my frequent struggle with injury (real or perceived) which has limited my participation in this event over the years. Somehow the stars have aligned in just such a way that I feel at least somewhat capable of participating in this year's event, and I'm beyond excited to climb in QotD for the first time since...well, I don't know when. Good luck to everyone competing!
On to this week's slate of videos, we have a double dip of Joe Kinder from the Outdoor Retailer Trade Show and Utah's Hurricave, Jimmy Webb getting it done on a James Litz testpiece at the Lilly Boulders and Adam Ondra doing his thing on Golpe de Estado:
- 2011 Outdoor Retailer Winter Market
- A Few From The Lilly Boulders
- A Day In The Hurricave With Joe Kinder
- Adam Ondra Working Golpe de Estado (5.15b)
Have a great weekend everyone!

Dude, You talk about yourself in the third person. Are you seriously that arrogant?
The Narc's feelings are a bit hurt by this comment...
