Thanks to Colin for adressing the hysteria and clarifying the issue of style.
Now imagine what the pioneers in the 60s would have thought if someone had said El Cap is going to become a roadside climber's playground.
They would have looked down at the crowds below feeding the bears, marching through the meadows, cheering on as burning logs were launched off of Glacier Point during the nightly tradition of creating a 'firefall' above Camp Curry, and they would have thought, "I guess that's sort of predictable, they'll probably shit in the cracks too!"
Glad to see David Lama is going to take this line from the ground-up. Hope the bolts are spicy.
Good luck to Lama. It's nice to hear that the team has taken to the local ethics and ideals.
