Vimeo is quickly becoming a great place to peruse climbing videos in a clean, high quality format. In the past few months it has replaced YouTube as the default location for most climbers to post their videos for sharing on the internet. This is mainly due to Vimeo offering much higher quality video, often in HD if that is what the video was shot in.
The other great thing happening with Vimeo is the ability for users to form groups and channels based on certain topics. The channels basically allow users to categorize videos into separate groupings, kind of like a TV channel. One such channel that caught my eye recently was the Yosemite Bouldering channel. Not surpisingly the channel was created by the people behind the excellent blog BetaBase. Below is a sampling of the videos you can see on the channel:
Randy Puro on the first bouldering ascent of Two Bolts Or Not To Be @ the 140 boulders, Yosemite

Paul Barraza climbing Yabo Roof (V12) @ El Cap Boulders, Yosemite

Tim Medina climbing Changing Corners (V8) @ Candyland, Yosemite

Ethan Pringle climbing Pride (V9) @ The Crystals, Yosemite

In addition to these channels, Vimeo also has groups. One of particular interest is the UKBouldering group. (Via Mountains and Water). Check it out, but only when you plenty of time to kill!
Awesome videos. Great stuff. Vimeo all the way.
