Short on words, long on pictures, here is a visual summary of Rachel & Eddie’s trip up the Big Stone.  They got to spend their first night on El Cap Tower with Ivo Ninov and Eric Pearlman who were in position to film the speed record.  Included in the gallery are a couple of pictures (#’s 6, 7 and 8) of Hans Florine and Yuji Hirayama on the aforementioned record setting ascent of The Nose.  Make sure to hover your mouse over the expanded images to see the captions…

    They DEF need to do a slideshow night at A-Rock….that would be awesome…plus to hear more about squirrel trapping, how cool would that be?

    Eddie, stealing my Squirrel Fishing beta without citing me? Plagerist! I have photographic proof with Chad in the photos! (PS it works better if you loop the webbing over a tree branch)

    we used the branch as a pulley in our 2nd generation efforts. 3rd generation will no doubt use protraxion and static line in addition to heavily duct-tape reinforced paper bag. we learn.

    ps. the babies don’t freak out as much as the big ‘uns.

    I had a “safety break” before we left the crag and I totally spaced putting my card on your window.
