Clearly my trip to the Red River Gorge last week was a great inspiration for some had nothing to do with any of this, but the interesting and noteworthy sends continue down in Kentucky’s Red River Gorge.
Sasha DiGiliuan continued her amazing week with an onsight of the long enduro pitch Last Of The Bohicans (5.13d) and apparently came close to sending Lucifer (5.14c).
And in keeping with this week’s youth theme, 8a.nu reports that 12 year-old Shawn Raboutou did Ultra Perm (5.13d).
Update: DiGiulian went back and sent Lucifer today. 2 5.14c’s in one week! Wow!
Update #2: Young Shawn Raboutou and his 9 year-old sister Brooke both did Swingline (5.13d) during their trips a well. In addition, mom Robyn Erbesfield-Raboutou had a nice trip sending both Ultra Perm and Swingline.
Wow. Well done! Quite an impressive trip she’s having.

I was lucky enough to be in the Purgatory when Sasha came in to work the moves on Lucifer last Wednesday. It was absolutely incredible. She floated the whole thing-none of the moves looked harder than V2. No surprise she sent the next day.
