Ondra Flashes 2 Rocklands V13s In One Day

I’m still decompressing and trying to catch up after being on the road for the past 10 days, but here is a bit of news to tide you over.

Adam Ondra has been in South Africa recently for a Petzl event where he already made news by doing the long awaited FA of Mazawatte (5.14c) at Montagu.  Turning his attention to the bouldering at Rocklands, Ondra pulled off impressive flashes of 2 V13, 1 V12 and 2 V11 boulders in a single day (after working the notoriously sharp Amandla (V14) no less):

Later Marijus and Adam returned from The Fortress with news that Adam had successfully flashed The Vice, 8B and Armed Response, 8B. This is perhaps the first time that someone has successfully flashed 2 8B's in one day! Just to prove what a superb climber he really is he then went and flashed Out of Balance 8A, Pendragon 8A and Oral Office 8A+.
