Video Friday is here, but I am not. Mrs. Narc and I are out in Boulder, CO taking care of business and doing a little bit of climbing.
Fresh from our lives at sea level we made the trek to Mt. Evans’ Lincoln Lake yesterday to set new personal altitude records and climb a few boulders. We were able to sample a few of the problems, but the altitude really limited our motivation to explore too much. Turns out it’s hard to stay psyched when moving 10 feet from where you put your shoes on to the base of a problem leaves you out of breath. The hike out, while not the most fun thing I’ve ever done, was not too bad since we took it slow. We then made the short drive to the summit of Mt. Evans and somehow survived the day without passing out. Sunny times all around. Here are a few pictures:
Walking in. Park around 12,500 and drop down about 700 ft. or so to get to the first boulders.
