Chris Sharma on NPR

A little late, but Chris Sharma was on “All Things Considered” on NPR last week.  For whatever reason he is climbing in Maryland and there is a short video of him pulling down (presumably, I couldn’t get the video to play) along with audio of the interview.

    “For whatever reason” makes it sound like Maryland sucks! It’s not horrible or anything ;) I presume he was climbing here because NPR’s facilities are in DC and fairly close to Carderock Park in the scheme of things. The video really isn’t that great and it sucks that NPR uses real player for their video and audio files. Seems like lots of people can’t play it.

    Ha, I didn’t mean to disparage Maryland by any means but it’s not really the sort of climbing mecca you picture Sharma hanging out at. I presumed that it must have to do with the proximity to NPR. I guess going all the way to Kentucky 3 weeks ago to cover him in one of the best areas of the Country didn’t fit in with keeping things “Green” or something…
