At the end of the summer, I got around to doing something that I have wanted to do for a while. To do the 3 8's in a day. I choose to do them all in the Lakes, Impropa Opera (Font8A) at the Bowderstone, Disorderly Conduct (E8..... depending on who you talk to) at Reecastle and Keep on Keeping on (French 8a+) at Thrang Quarry.
This edit is just a bit of fun from my day out. Thanks to Tim Stubley (filming) and Rob Lay for coming out with me and making sure I didn't belay off the end of my rope or something daft.
Massive thanks for the support:

Disappointing — I thought the title referred to the Yosemite grading system.

Shame you’ve given a blanket ‘disappointing’ comment simply down to the fact you don’t understand the grades described in the title. It might be worth comparing with grades you’re more used to before leaving such a negative comment on some good climbing.

I think your sarcasm/humour detector might need a little tweaking.

well I’m disappointed that you read that as a serious comment and took time out of your very late night to get all serious about grade comparisons.
