just because you don't understand the techniques involved doesn't mean it's not correct practice. when i multipitch rock climb i always self-belay with a gri-gri while the rest of my party belays me from two anchors. TWO ANCHORS. it's called "professionalism"; learn to deal with it. because it's important.

Apparently heavy drinking is an important factor, something I thought most climbers would already have dialed.

The best part is that the 70 foot jumps, "dynamic cam placements," etc. were all supposedly done at around 26,000 feet, where most people can barely stand up. Sign me up for the Vertical Limit school of acclimitization techniques!

That was hilarious! It reminds me of an after school special on topics like why not to play with electricity or chainsaws are not toys. It had that same bad acting cheap visual effect feel to it. Made my day thanks!

My kids really have to work on their camming skills. Can you imagine if your daughter couldn't place cam, cause that cam was totally not cammed enough. Horrifying! I definitely learn a ton about cams and camming from the movie as well as the instructional tutorial. Kids and cams not a good mixture. I think if my daughter built a belay with cams like she did i would want Charlie to cut my rope too.
