Reading about climbing areas near and far is one of the best parts of the climbing blogosphere. Any climber with sufficient motivation can share words, pictures or video of wherever they are climbing which to me is a great thing. While I spend a lot of time posting about big number ascents, I think most of us find quality ascents just as interesting to read about.
Alex Savage recently sent me a note about a new problem completed recently at Black Mountain in California called Beowulf. While “only” V10 or V11, Beowulf climbs a proud looking line out a huge boulder that I would kill to have about 2,000 miles closer to my house. He put a video together which can be seen here.
Check out Alex’s site for a nice blog and quality media from his travels all over the country.
