Climbing Video: Paul Robinson At The 2009 Hueco Rock Rodeo

A few weeks back Paul Robinson returned to Hueco Tanks and put on a clinic during the 2009 Hueco Rock Rodeo, quickly repeating several double digit boulders on his way to victory.  Lucky for us, the cameras of Projekt Media were rolling to capture his ascents of Terre De Sienne, Diaphanous Sea, Algerita, El Techo… and more:

Speaking of Paul Robinson, he is out in St. George, Utah right now vying for the 2nd ascent of Dave Graham’s Psychedelic (5.14d).  Read a bit more about how things are going in this brief interview he did with Mountains and Water.  You can check out the video of Graham’s FA on this old post.

    Cool sends, but video quality leaves something to be desired. Some of that is obviously the Youtube factor, but the camera-work didn’t thrill me either.

    Of course, this is just armchair quarterbacking from some loser who neither climbs actual rocks very often nor owns a video camera.

      The youtube factor is certainly lamentable. I saw the original HD version last week and it was MUCH better.
