The Good Times Are Killing Me (V2) is probably one of the best boulder problems at Governor Dodge State Park in Southwest Wisconsin. Unlike many other problems at The Dodge, the rock is near perfect and the movement is good. Here’s how it goes:
Depending on your height, you use varying levels of shenanigans to reach the first holds: two perfect, good but not that good, slopey pockets. Swing your feet all the way around to a decent foot way out left to get established on the wall. Once established, make a long throw up to the lip, but make sure you reach far enough. Slap for the front edge and you will get nothing but slope in your face; make that extra reach and you will be rewarded with a nice slopey jug. Keep your head as you mantle up and onto the slopey summit of the Godfather Boulder and you are rewarded…with a rather difficult tree down climb to reach the ground.
Unlike most other problems at The Dodge, you don’t need to fear ripping sandy holds off the wall at any point. Superb! Now, if only it were longer…
Here are sequences of Tony & Nate climbing up…and down.

Last known image of this guy [rock] climbing…also last known picture of lucky Prana hat! Sadly lost somewhere on Devil’s Lake’s West Bluff…RAGE!
