Monday night was (I think) the 4th edition of Adventure Rock’s Monday Bouldering Extravaganza Comp (MBEC to the initiated). Besides the fresh new boulder problems, the best part of the comp is that the $5 entry fee is donated directly the Red River Gorge Climbers Coalition.
This was my first time attending an MBEC (perpetual injury and late work nights on Monday’s) so I was psyched to hang out for a bit and work on my photog skills. I still have a lot of learning to do, but it is a lot of fun to practice.
