ABS Midwest Regionals

We are heading down to Climb Time Blue Ash in Cincinnati this weekend for the ABS Regionals competition.  This will be the first time most of our kids will be climbing in a comp of this format (‘onsight’ bouldering) so it should be exciting.  If it all goes well we might be heading out to Boulder next month for Nationals!

Personally I have found onsight bouldering finals to be rather fun, even if I was never all that good at them.  Here is a picture that sums ups my experience with finals of any kind:

Good deal. Your finger looked pretty gnarly last night, reminded me of looking at my hands 🙂

enough about you already, let’s hear your analysis of the pros! dave graham sending midnight express, sean mccoll doing a ton of FA’s in the snow and then Mandalion, Matt fultz putting down his v12 and 13 in a day in Idaho…..you’re falling down on the job. im just kidding man, let’s see some good results at regionals!!!

Good call. More of others and less of me has always been a good thing. One more post about me and then back to obsessing about the accomplishments of others.

And yes, Sean McColl has turned the Buttermilks into his personal climbing gym apparently, despite the horrible weather.
