Devil’s Lake Pictures

I added some pictures from the past weekend’s adventures at Devil’s Lake to the pictures page.  Amy and I spent Saturday bouldering with Tony & Sarah at the North Shore and Monolith areas.  Sunday we met up with Chris to continue ticking off East Bluff classics on the sharp end.  This was also my first venture out with my new toy, the Nikon D70.

I hope to have a bit more of a verbose write-up on this past weekend tomorrow.

piks look nice and clear. remember to work your epperson angles: above and slightly off-set from the climber; and try to capture those feet!

Brian, looks like the weather is shaping up for Sat. What do you think, a little climbing, then head to village cafe for dinner. Sounds like a great time.

Mostly cloudy…windy…sounds like sending weather! Not sure about the Village Cafe though. We have to feed 10 other people. You could come and hang out and eat some pasta with us at the campground.

I love hooty’s. Why are you both posting stuff on the Narc’s blog when you should be in school.

I love hooters. Why are you posting when you should be working. I’m eating at the village cafe, by myself if i need to. I think it’s going to be too warm and sunny to climb at DL anyway.

Vintage, what day are you coming up now that the weather looks to be cooperating both days?

I want to come up Sat. I don’t know if I will be spending the night or not, the village cafe is calling my name. If both days look great maybe I’ll stay the night. Dawn may be interested, I don’t know. Maybe we should head to the west bluff, wiesners face is a great place to take a group, the needle is right there, son a great chimney is close by too.

That might be a good idea. Maybe West Bluff one day and then Horses the other. You should stay both days obviously, Dawn really doesn’t want to see you anyhow.
